Yoel romero made a killing last week, when he won the case against the supplement company 'Gold Star Performance Products'. The Cuban received compensation for having his supplements contaminated in the amount of US$27,45 million, almost R$110 million at current prices. However, even with his pockets full, he did not escape provocations from Michael Bisping.

The Englishman, former middleweight champion (up to 83,9 kg), did not miss the opportunity to provoke Romero, who still dreams of the division title. Participating in the podcast, “Believe You Me”, Bisping said that the Cuban can buy anything with the compensation, except the UFC belt.
“It doesn’t matter where you are, and what currency you convert this value into. Yen, pesos, pounds, euros… US$27,45 million makes you a rich man anywhere in the world. This guy can buy whatever he wants. Apartments, houses, planes, stores, opening businesses... He doesn't need to work another day in his life. But the question is: will he still keep fighting? I think it will, and I explain: even with all this money, or even more, there is one thing that Romero will never be able to buy: the world champion belt…”, he said.
Afterwards, Bisping told how he found out about the case won by Romero.
“'It's not possible that the Steroid Soldier (a pun on Yoel's nickname, which is Soldier of God) won a lawsuit against a laboratory for contamination of supplements!' But happened. Good for him. I am happy. He must have been God. Romero and I have had some problems over the years, but I'm really happy for him.”
