In recent years, MMA has become a prominent sport, just like football. It is common, on fight days, for groups to gather in bars, restaurants and even in their homes waiting for the show to start.

Many professionals in the field began to strive for perfect physical shape, as up to 900 calories can be burned with each workout! But, not everything is beneficial inside the octagon, as pointed out by orthopedist and sports medicine traumatologist Roberto Ranzini, professor at Methodist University of São Paulo, when talking about injuries of all types suffered by athletes.

Aldo began his career in the octagons in 2008 at the Arco Arena in Sacramento, California, against athlete Alexandre Nogueira and won the stalemate.
