Jones asks for two fights so he can 'steal' belts from Cormier

The former UFC champion stated that in the first fight he will regain the light heavyweight belt and in the second he will take the heavyweight title from DC's hands

Jon Jones He is awaiting a ruling on his trial at the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA), but his return to Ultimate appears to be getting closer every day. For his return, the chosen target was his arch-rival and UFC champion, Daniel Cormier. In an interview with the website “RT Sport”, 'Bones' revealed that he wants two more fights with 'DC'. The first will be to regain the light heavyweight belt and the second will be to take back the heavyweight title.

“My vision is to fight him at light heavyweight first. I think beating him a third time would do something for his confidence. In his mind, I feel like he thinks he can still beat me, especially since the fight was going really well until I took him down. I want to crush his confidence…,” Jones said.

In the two confrontations between the arch-rivals in Ultimate in January 2015 and July 2017, Jones won by unanimous decision or knockout. On both occasions, due to legal problems or a positive anti-doping test, the light heavyweight title was stripped from Bones.

Monday night, Daniel Cormier reacted to comments from Jon Jones through your Twitter. “Big goals for a guy who could only achieve them after he finishes being disciplined for his 3rd drug failure! I mean this #cheat guy,” the UFC light heavyweight and heavyweight champion responded.
