Wanderlei Silva is ready to return to MMA after more than four years away. On June 24th, he faces Chael Sonnen at Bellator 180, in New York, and sent a message to the enemy, without forgetting another rival, Vitor belfort. The “Crazy Dog” approved the “Phenomenon” idea of ​​creating a league of legends and admitted that he dreams of a rematch against Belfort – the two fought in 1998, at UFC 17.5, in São Paulo, and Vitor came out on top, with a stunning knockout in the first minute of the fight.

The two even had a rematch scheduled in the UFC, when they were coaches on the first season of The Ultimate Fighter Brasil. At the time, however, Belfort broke his hand and was replaced by Rich Franklin, but Wanderlei still hasn't come to terms with his rival's injury.

“I think Belfort had a glorious cycle in the UFC, he had great events, great fights, but he missed the rematch with Silva, because in that one he said he broke his hand. In fact, the injury was very strange, as he is the one… who takes all the care in the world not to get hurt, who is highly professional… Breaking his hand in sparring? Belfort… (…) If he wants to join the forty-something league, I would love to welcome him to Bellator. It would be great if we could finally have this rematch. He had that outburst of his, but I won't fall for it again, let him come up with a new one. That explosion is done. It’s good, but it’s worn out (laughs)”, commented Wanderlei in an interview with Combate.com.

The Brazilian even sent a message to Sonnen, telling the American to stay away from him before the two faced each other. Wand claims that he did not go to the press conference precisely to avoid repeating his friend Chris Cyborg, who encountered his rival Angela Magaña at a UFC event and punched her.
