It wasn't just fans of Wanderlei Silva who were happy with the announcement of the duel between the Brazilian and Chael Sonnen at Bellator 180, scheduled for June 24, in New York (USA). Through his social networks, 'Crazy Dog' himself commented on the fight, and did not hide his happiness at finally having the opportunity to 'settle the score' with his declared enemy.

“It is with great pleasure that I now come to tell you that my fight at Bellator 180, against Sonnen, has been concluded, an old rivalry that will finally be resolved. I have 49 fights and I really wanted to have my 50th fight, but more than that, it had to be with him. I was going to fight Cro Cop at the end of the year, but I couldn't recover, but the fight 50 I really wanted to have been with him and it will be, and I'm going to beat him up”, said Silva.
