The UFC's strict anti-doping control has claimed yet another victim. The North American Frank mir, former heavyweight champion, was warned by USADA, the agency responsible for the organization's anti-doping control, about a change in the test carried out after his fight against Mark Hunt, at UFC Fight Night 85, on March 19th.

Mir lost the duel by knockout at 3:01 of the first round.
After the change in his test was announced, Mir took to social media and assured that he did not use any prohibited substances.
“I was recently notified by USADA that the test I took on fight night came back with a substance that I did not take. I don't know how this is possible, because I haven't used any performance-enhancing substances to compete. I have never tested positive for a banned substance since I joined the UFC and became a two-time champion. I ask all of you not to judge me until all the facts are revealed,” wrote the heavyweight.
Despite denying the use of any illegal substance, Frank mir should receive temporary suspension until the case is judged.
