With a card full of renowned fighters, the 13th edition of Shark Fights takes place today in Amarillo, Texas. The event features as its main attraction the duel between Travor Pragley, current light heavyweight champion against the former UFC fighter, Keith Jardine, in a fight where the belt will not be at stake. Another duel that draws attention will be between the Cameroonian Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou, athlete with stints in Pride and UFC, against Houston Alexander, another fighter with a good run in Ultimate. The only Brazilian on the card, Danillo “Indian” Villefort will measure forces with Joey Villasanor, an athlete who is coming off a defeat to fellow Brazilian Ronaldo “Jacare” at Strikeforce.
