At the beginning of the duel with Green, Miller managed to come out slightly better with more speed in his punches and making his rival uncomfortable by moving forward the entire time. However, in the second round, Jim came back more tired and his opponent grew stronger in the fight.
Bobby started to move forward and work a lot on jab and straight combinations, punishing Miller's face in an impressive way. Even with all the punishment, Jim was resilient and withstood his opponent's blows until the last bell sounded. After 15 minutes of a real war, Green emerged victorious in the unanimous decision of the judges.
Present in the 100th and 200th editions of Ultimate, Miller suffered his first defeat in the organization's centennial editions. After beating Mac Danzig (UFC 100) and Takanori Gomi (UFC 200), the American leaves the octagon of the T-Mobile Arena with a setback for Bobby Green.
