Belfort provokes Bisping and Rockhold: 'Old acquaintances of my left leg'

Brazilian fought back attacks from rivals, remembering the knockouts inflicted on them in 2013

In recent months, Vitor belfort has been the preferred target of almost all UFC middleweights. Recently, the “Phenomenon” received public attacks from Tim Kennedy, Chris Weidman, Luke Rockhold e Michael Bisping. However, this Friday (07), the Brazilian decided to take revenge on at least the last two. Vitor took advantage of the proximity of UFC Australia, in which Rockhold and Bisping will face each other in the main fight, and used social media to make fun of his rivals, both of whom he knocked out in 2013.

“Sunday (the fight, in fact, is this Saturday) has Shogun and Ovince St Preux. And today (in Australia) the fight is between old acquaintances of my left leg”, said the carioca on his official profile on Twitter. In his provocation, Belfort mentions the fact that he knocked out both Bisping and Rockhold after a high kick with his left leg, which would later also pave the way for his triumph over Dan Henderson.

At 37, Vitor belfort has a professional record of 24 wins and ten losses. After achieving three consecutive victories in 2013, including triumphs over Rockhold and Bisping, the “Phenomenon” was confirmed as a challenger for the middleweight title. However, due to a series of problems, the duel against Chris Weidman It ended up being postponed several times and now it will take place on February 28, 2015, in the main fight of UFC 184.
