Everything is fine for the two most important fights of the UFC Las Vegas 40, which takes place this Saturday (16). At the official weigh-in for the show, held this Friday afternoon (15), Norm Dumont e Carlos Boi fulfilled their commitment to balance and guaranteed confrontations against Aspen ladd e Andrei Arlovskirespectively.

Representative of featherweights (up to 65,7kg.), Norm Dumont There were no problems with the weight cutting process. Candidate for a future title fight in the category, the Minas Gerais native weighed 65,9kg.
After failing – by a lot – to cut weight for the UFC Las Vegas 39, Aspen ladd ended up being cast to replace Holly holm in this Saturday. Now at featherweight, the North American was the first to step on the scale and weighed 65,7kg.
New Brazilian favorite in heavyweight (up to 120,2kg.), Carlos Boi It wasn't scary either. At 117,4kg, the athlete is ready for his biggest challenge in Ultimate yet.
Former champion of the category up to 120,2kg., Andrei Arlovski fulfilled the agreement. An MMA veteran, the fighter weighed 111,1kg.
Another Tupiniquim representative on the main card is confirmed. Fly fighter (up to 56,7kg.), Mayra Sheetara measured 57,1kg., while the opponent, Manon Fiorot weighed 56,9kg.
In search of his second victory for the UFC, Bruno Blindado is guaranteed at the event. At 83,9kg, the fighter faces the TUF champion, Andrew Sanchez, which scored the same amount as Tupiniquim.
Willing to confirm the good phase in the company, Luana Dread did his homework. The fighter weighed 56,9kg, while Lupita Godinez, last minute climb, gained 55,1kg.
First Brazilian to step into the octagon this Saturday, Ariane Sorriso wants the second victory in the company. With 52,3kg, the São Paulo native faces the newcomer istela nunes, which weighed 51,9kg. in the Brazilian duel.
Fight canceled
In the final minutes of the official weigh-in, the UFC confirmed a last-minute cancellation. Without revealing the reasons, the company stated that Julian Marquez would not continue on the card. Thus, the confrontation against Jordan wright, which had already successfully crossed the scales, was cancelled.
A representative of the middleweights, Marquez did not even attend the measurement site.
