One of the Brazilian stars in UFC Las Vegas 40, which takes place this Saturday (16), Carlos Boi didn't want any jokes when he came face to face with Andrei Arlovski. In the traditional confrontation before the event, held on the afternoon of this Friday (15), the Bahian did not keep his distance and got very close to the veteran, leading to a moment of tension.

Despite being very close, the athletes respected protocol and did not touch each other. There was also no performance among the heavyweights (up to 120,2kg).
This weekend, Carlos will have his most important commitment since arriving in Ultimate. Against the former champion of the organization, the Brazilian hopes to score his fourth consecutive victory and get closer to the top 15 of the group led by Francis Ngannou (lineal champion) and Cyryl Gane (interim title holder).
One of the most experienced athletes in the company, Arlovski has surprised with confident performances. At 42 years old, the former leader of the group has three victories in the last five appearances.
The confrontation between Boi and Andrei will represent the co-main fight of the show. The event will be headlined by Norm Dumont e Aspen ladd, who face each other at featherweight (up to 65,7kg.).
