After making UFC history as a former light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg), Tito Ortiz decided to switch to boxing to face another legend of the sport, Anderson Silva. And, in the week before the fight, the North American is working with full force to arrive strong for the duel. On his social networks, he revealed how much he is weighing and stated that he is in the final process of cutting weight.

“I have to get down to 195 pounds (88,4kg.). I'm probably around 212 pounds, 96 pounds, around that. Feeling good for now. I had a good day working with Jason Parillo and Jay Silva (coaches). We did some light sparring,” said Ortiz.
Tito added the affirmative and promised to be intense in the fight against Anderson Silva. He even stated that he will be ready for an intense boxing match.
“This weekend, live from the Seminole Hard Rock Casino, I will be facing the Anderson Silva. I'm going to kick his ass. I hope he's ready for a fight. I'm not going there to just collect a paycheck. I'm going there to win”, concluded the American.
Despite never having competed in professional boxing, Tito Ortiz He's an Ultimate legend. The North American made history by becoming light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg) and defended the title on five other occasions, also being a member of the organization's 'Hall of Fame'. In his career, he has defeated names like Chuck Liddell, Chael Sonnen, Wanderlei Silva e Vitor belfort. His last appearance took place in 2019, when he defeated Alberto 'El Patrón'.
