Current middleweight champion (up to 83,9kg.), Israel adesanya There's a lot to celebrate. After winning Paulo borrachinha in a dominant way and keep the belt, last Saturday (26), at UFC 253, on 'Fight Island', in Abu Dhabi, the Nigerian returned to the octagon and was recorded in a moment of pure reflection and peace.

In the images (see the video below), Adesanya is filmed walking around the octagon, as if trying to remember details of the fight he had a few hours ago. At one point, the champion bends down, kisses the ground, and then lies down, looking up.

In the fight against Paulo, the division leader didn't give the Brazilian a chance to impose his strategy and make use of his physical strength. After a dominant first round, Adesanya scored a tough knockout near the middle of the second stage, confirming his favoritism in the bookmakers.

The triumph over Borrachinha confirmed the Nigerian as a new phenomenon in the organization. Division champion since October last year, Israel made his second title defense and further consolidated himself as one of the organization's biggest stars.

In addition to retaining the title, Adesanya reached the mark of 20 consecutive victories in MMA. A professional in the sport since 2012, Israel doesn't know what it's like to lose.
