Marlon also stated that everyone was disappointed behind the scenes of the fight. After all, Dillashaw had become champion of the bantamweight division and was proving to be a very effective fighter against his opponents.

“We are all disappointed. It was a fairy tale. We don't know if he's that good of a fighter. It's difficult because every time we go into training we want to get in shape. We want our conditioning to be good and this guy wasn't worried about that. If he was cheating now, he was cheating before, Moraes said.

The Brazilian justified the fact that he said that the punishment should be greater, considering that the case involving TJ was not isolated. For him, the North American had been trying to deceive the system for some time.

“He was cheating the system and it wasn’t the first time. He did it with USADA here. When she wasn’t there, I believe he did it too”, concluded the fighter.

Marlon debuted in the UFC in 2017, and since then, he has five fights and four wins. His last appearance took place in February this year, when he defeated compatriot Rafael Assunção via submission in the first round, at UFC Fortaleza.
