Dana White on Israel Adesanya x Kelvin Gastelum: 'One of the greatest fights I've ever seen'

Kelvin Gastelum e Israel adesanya fought an intense duel in the UFC 236, event held last Saturday (13), in Atlanta (USA). The middleweights alternated in control of the duel for 25 minutes in the fight for the division's interim belt. In the end, even Dana White, president of the franchise, surrendered to the athletes' performance.

At the press conference after the show, White praised the athletes' performance. “Gastelum x Adesanya was one of the biggest fights I’ve ever seen in my life,” said the director.

With Adesanya's victory, the UFC president is already thinking about unifying the titles at a big event on the other side of the world. Like Israel, despite being Nigerian, he lives in New Zealand, and Robert whittaker, linear champion, is Australian. The superfight should be held in Oceania.

“Adesanya vs. Whittaker will definitely not happen in the United States. It will be played in Australia. It's going to be a huge event there. My team has this homework for this week: to create not an arena, but a stadium in Australia for this fight”, added the manager.
