The UFC president commented on the exchange of provocations between Adesanya and Jones, but ruled out a superfight, without the Nigerian first establishing himself as middleweight champion. He made a point of remembering that Jacaré is waiting for the chance to fight for the title, right after the unification.

“If Jacaré keeps winning and doesn’t fight for the belt, he’s going to kill me,” said Dana, remembering that he promised the Brazilian a title shot if he wins Jack hermansson on the next 27th.

“Adesanya has to worry about Whittaker now. Whittaker is very dangerous. He is bigger and hits harder than Kelvin. I think Israel needs to focus on this now. But if he wins Robert whittaker and become the absolute middleweight champion, I would love to see him and Jon Jones fight. I know the two are teasing each other, but we have to see how things play out. Because if Adesanya beats Whittaker, there are other guys waiting to get a shot at the belt,” she added.
