Wand admits mistake in choice: “I wanted Bodão on my team”

The second episode of The Ultimate Fighter Brasil, shown last Sunday (2), on Rede Globo, marked the choice of athletes who formed the blue team, from Wanderlei Silva, and the green team, led by Vitor belfort.

Wand, who won the draw and had the option to make the first choice, revealed through his Twitter account one regret during the selection. Through the microblog, the blue team commander stated that he would have liked to have chosen Thiago Bodão for his team, but the middleweight from São Paulo ended up on Belfort's team

“Did you like the choice of teams? Very difficult, as everyone is excellent. I didn't know the fighters before TUF, I chose them based on the fights they had in the rankings. I would have liked to have chosen Bodão for my team, I chose it with my heart”, posted Wanderlei.

Thiago Bodão was only the 10th choice among the 16 athletes, being the third middleweight selected by Vitor belfort.
