According to documents obtained by the North American website MMA Junkie, Ferguson's problems began in January 2018 and became worse in 2019. In the first three months of the year, police were called at least five times to his House. However, the fighter was not arrested or called to testify on either occasion.
At one point, a neighbor reported that Ferguson hadn't slept for three days, saying that they had implanted a chip in his leg. On another occasion, the police were requested, as the fighter had changed the locks on his house without informing his wife, in the midst of a panic attack.
A police officer reported that the former champion said 'there was some person within the walls' of his house. Days before this incident, Cristina had requested the presence of the authorities because she was unable to control her husband who was throwing 'holy water at her'. According to reports, Tony did not attack his wife, but he was 'out of his mind'.
The restraining order against the fighter was filed. However, an investigation into the case will be carried out on March 22 and the hearing will take place on April 5.
