After being challenged by Cara de Sapato, Borrachinha says: 'He's a weak fighter'

Antonio Shoe Face challenged Paulo borrachinha to solve their 'problems' inside the Octagon. However, a fight with his compatriot does not seem to be in the Minas Gerais player's plans. He stated that the former partner of TUF Brasil, the UFC reality show, 'is a weak fighter'.

“Out of everyone there, he (Shoe Face), it's definitely the easiest fight. He's a very limited guy, he just tries to do Jiu-Jitsu. But I understand his excitement... The guy is excited, because after a long time without relevance within the UFC, he appeared in the rankings. But he needs to train, instead of getting excited, because then he loses a fight and falls into oblivion again”, said Borrachinha in an interview with the Tatame magazine website.

Without mincing words, Paulo compared Shoe Face com Cezar Mutant. According to the Minas Gerais native, the winners of The Ultimate Fighter Brasil (TUF) did not win in the UFC and fell into oblivion.

“For me, he is the 'Cezar Mutant 2.0', because he won TUF, like Mutante did, and then, when he arrived in the UFC, he got a reality check, didn't achieve anything and fell into oblivion. O Shoe Face is Cezar Mutant 2019”, said the miner.

Despite all the provocations, Borrachinha did not rule out a confrontation with the Paraíba native. However, for the duel to take place, the UFC has to find the match interesting.

“I’ll fight anyone, no matter who they are. I just need a date to fight and the UFC needs to find the fight interesting. The UFC is in charge, simple”, concluded Paulo.

Paulo borrachinha hasn't fought since July 2018, when he knocked out Uriah Hall in the second round. The miner was scheduled to face Yoel romero in the main fight of UFC Fort Lauderdale, but was removed from the card without explanation.
