Sonnen comes to Brazil and comes face to face with Anderson in April

The long-awaited rematch between Anderson Silva e Chael Sonnen is scheduled to take place on June 23rd, at the Engenhão Stadium. But the controversial North American will come to Brazil next month to promote the duel.

UFC president, Dana White, revealed that the fighters will be at the press conference that will make the event official. The exact date has not yet been confirmed, but it is known that it will be in Rio de Janeiro in the second half of April.

“The fight will happen. He accepted the fight and will be with me in Brazil for the press conference there”, summarized Dana White to the North American website MMA Weekly.

Despite being just a meeting to promote the rematch, there is great expectation for Sonnen to come to Brazil. In addition to never being face to face again, the athletes exchanged several provocations through the press. It will also be the North American's first time on Brazilian soil since he started provoking the country's fighters and even criticizing Brazil.
