International Women's Day is celebrated this Friday, March 8th. And the largest MMA organization in the world could not fail to pay tribute to the fighters. The UFC released a video on its Twitter account with great moments from women in the Octagon.

The edition shows images of Brazilian athletes such as: Amanda nunes, Cris Cygorg, Jessica Stacker, Claudinha gadelha, Livinha Souza in action. In addition to the Brazilian fighters, the Polish Joanna Jędrzejczyk and the North American Holly holm e Rose namajunas are also honored.
“They are strong. They are resilient. They are examples and inspirations. All our admiration and respect for the women who are part of the UFC”, states the call for the video. Check it out below:
