Anderson Silva was defeated by Israel adesanya in the main fight of UFC 234, on February 09th. After a performance that surprised MMA fans, ‘Spider’ asked for a place in the UFC 237, which should be held in Curitiba, on May 11th. However, the Brazilian is suspended for 180 days due to a right injury. To return before six months, the former middleweight champion needs approval from the ophthalmologist.

Despite this, Anderson intensified rumors of his presence at the event in the capital of Paraná. The former middleweight champion posted an image where the character 'Spider-Man' over the phone reveals that he will not save the world, but rather the president of Ultimate Dana White.
“Babe, I'm not going to save the world today. I’m going to Brazil to save Dana again!”, says the character in the cartoon.
The mysterious post could be an indication that Ultimate can confirm Anderson's presence on the card. UFC 237.
Throughout his UFC career, Anderson helped the organization confirm events that needed a star. Examples of this were the UFC 153 cards in 2012, when he faced Stephan bonnar in Rio de Janeiro, and at UFC 200, when he replaced Jon Jones in the fight against Daniel Cormier with just 48 hours notice.
