After putting on a show in Fortaleza, Johnny Walker challenges Jimi Manuwa to fight at UFC London

With the knockout over Justin Ledet in 15 seconds, the Brazilian stated that he wants to return to the octagon as quickly as possible and challenged the Englishman: 'Manuwa, do you accept the challenge?'

Johnny Walker surprised by knocking out Justin Ledet in just 15 seconds at UFC Fortaleza. Still inside the octagon, the Brazilian asked the organizers for a new fight. In an interview with the Combate channel website, the fighter stated that he wants to face Jimi Manuwa in the UFC London.

“I want to fight Jimi Manuwa in London. I'm prepared. And you, Manuwa, accept the challenge?”, warned Walker.

At 26 years old, Johnny had two fights in Ultimate that didn't make it past the first round. Before the fight with Ledet, the fighter defeated Khalil rountree by knockout at 1m57s at UFC Buenos Aires in November last year. Walker has a record of 19 fights, with 16 victories and three setbacks. Despite his short time in the organization, the Brazilian already appears in the light heavyweight rankings in 15th position.

Jimi Manuwa is going through a bad moment in Ultimate, as he comes from three defeats to Volkan oezdemir, Jan Blachowicz and Thiago Santos. 'Poster Boy' hasn't won since March 2017 on UFC London, when he knocked out Corey anderson. The Englishman has 22 fights in his career, with 17 triumphs and five setbacks.
