Bibiano Fernandes faces Kevin Belingon for the ONE Championship bantamweight title

ONE Championship will hold one of the biggest events in its history on March 31, in Tokyo (Japan). The card will have four title fights and among them the flyweight title. The Brazilian Bibiano Fernandes will have the chance to regain the category belt and end the trilogy with Kevin Belingon. The announcement was made by the CEO of the Asian organization, Chatri Sityodtong through his social networks.

One Championship announces clashes for the first round of the lightweight GP

The Brazilian was the ONE bantamweight champion from May 2013 to November 2018, when he lost on points to Belingon. The first clash between the Brazilian and the Filipino was in January 2016 and Bibiano got the better of him by submitting his rival in the first round.

In addition to the bantamweight title fight, welterweight champion Eduard Folayang defends his belt against Shinya Aoki. Women's flyweight champion Jingnan Xiong will face Angela Lee. In the light heavyweight division, champion Aung La Nsang will face Ken Hasegawa.

The event will also feature the premieres of Demetrious Johnson and Eddie Alvarez in ONE Championship. The former UFC champion will face Yuya Wakamatsu in the flyweight Gran Prix. 'Underground King' will face Timofey Nastyukhin in the lightweight GP.
