Eustaquio started the match with an advantage by landing effective blows in the first round. However, in the next four rounds Mikinho controlled the duel and took the fight to the ground where he tried to use a rear naked choke and a leg lock, but the Filipino managed to escape.
In the last round Geje landed a blow that shook the Brazilian, but failed to knock him out. Seeing this, Adriano put his rival on the ground and dominated him until the bell sounded.
