Interview with Norman Paraisy: “I will do my best against Maiquel Falcão”

Bellator kicked off the organization's 2012 tournament season last weekend with the opening of the featherweight GP. And this Friday the fight between the middleweights will begin, where the winner of the tournament will have the chance to compete for the category belt against the Cuban Hector Lombard.

The GP will feature the participation of four Brazilians: Maiquel Falcao, Givanildo Santana, Bruno Carioca and Vitor vianna. In addition to the Brazilian representatives, Frenchman Norman Paraisy is also confirmed in the dispute. But before starting the tournament, the European athlete, who says he is in love with Brazil, gave a brief interview to SUPER FIGHTS

SUPER FIGHTS: What are your expectations to face Maiquel Falcao in the first phase of the Bellator GP?

PUBLICITY:

Paradise: The expectations are good. I trained a lot, I'm happy and healthy to fight Maiquel.

SUPER FIGHTS: Falcão went through serious health problems and is promising a triumphant return. How do you intend to stop the Brazilian's motivation?

PUBLICITY:

Paradise: I hope that Falcão's health problems are resolved, health is the thing that matters most. But I will do my best to stop him.

SUPER FIGHTS: In addition to Falcão, the GP will feature three more Brazilians: Givanildo Santanna, Bruno Carioca and Vitor vianna (finalist of the last GP), which of these names could be the most difficult opponent in the GP?

PUBLICITY:

Paradise: Wow, they are very good fighters. I think everyone is a favorite, everyone is prepared and hungry.

SUPER FIGHTS: Rumors suggest that Bellator may hold an edition in Brazil, do you intend to be on this card?

Paradise: It would be very, very good. I had my first professional fight in Brazil, I learned to speak Portuguese, I love this land. If this edition happens, I want to fight in Brazil!

PUBLICITY:

SUPER FIGHTS: Leave a message for the fans in Brazil.

Paradise: I want to thank everyone who believes in me. I learned to fight in Brazil, my jiu-jitsu teacher Roan Carneiro (Jucão) is Brazilian and I have always been very well received in the country. I want to thank the Brazilian people for all the good times I spent there.

I also want to leave a thought for a person who is going through difficult times in life: after the darkness there always comes light.
