The old feud between Josh Barnett and UFC president Dana White gained another chapter today. The enmity began when the wrestler became the American organization's heavyweight champion, after a technical knockout victory over the good fighter Randy Couture.

When asked about Couture's situation, Barnett fired back:

“The situation shows that Dana White is someone who forgets things too quickly or has ADD (attention deficit disorder) or is simply a liar. First he says he was going to get Fedor and the other top fighters from Pride to fight Randy, then he says that the Russian is nobody, he looked like an idiot saying that. The UFC does not have a solid heavyweight division. There’s no fighter who looks like a champion, Cro Cop is in bad shape, Tim Sylvia no one wants to see him as champion anymore and Randy won’t fight anymore.”

Regarding the rumors that he would face Mark Hunt at the M-1 Global event at the end of the year, the fighter said: “It's a possibility, it depends on what they offer me. I have a name that I have built, a reputation. I know what my worth is. At the moment I have been staying in shape and focusing on the team I coach in Ring of Fire, which will be played in the Philippines and will feature Koji Oshi, Yuki Kondo, Renato 'Babalu' Sobral and Jeff Monson.”
