Thominhas Almeida faces Marlon Vera at UFC 235

After a year of stopping, Thominhas Almeida was scheduled to return to fight in the Ultimate Octagon. The Brazilian will face Marlon Vera at UFC 235, March 2, in Las Vegas (USA). The fighters will measure strength in the bantamweight division. The information was given first-hand by the North American website FloCombat.

Thominhas hasn't fought since January 2018, when he was knocked out by Rob font in the second round. The Brazilian is going through a bad phase in Ultimate, as he has only won one in the last four fights. Almeida has a record of 25 fights, with 22 triumphs and three setbacks. He is ranked 13th in the bantamweight rankings.

Vera lives in the opposite situation to the Brazilian in Ultimate. He is coming off two straight victories over Wuliji Buren and Guido cannetti in 2018. The Ecuadorian has 20 fights in his career with 14 wins, five setbacks and one draw.
