Amanda will try to break Cyborg's 13-year hegemony without defeat. During the UFC 232 press conference, Nunes assured that what differentiates her from her compatriot's other rivals is that she has the 'champion's mindset'. The 'Leoe' believes that a victory over Cris makes her 'the best of all time'.

PUBLICITY:

“I have something different from everyone else: the mindset of a champion. I think exactly how Cris thinks, that's the difference. It will be champion against champion and may the best win. Speaking of tactics, I need to get there and see what she's going to present to know what I'm going to do. Waiting for her to show what she has to put my game into practice. If I beat her, I will be the best of all time”, said Amanda.

The superfight between the Brazilians is being compared to the encounter between Anderson Silva and Vitor Belforte in 2011. On that occasion, 'Spider' knocked out 'Fenômeno' and made MMA popular in Brazil. Amanda believes that her duel with Cris could generate a spread of mixed martial arts among women in the country.

PUBLICITY:

“It’s one of the biggest women’s fights in history, champion against champion, that’s never happened. It's always great to be compared to great idols. I am very happy to bring happiness to our people. Brazil will stop and watch this fight. We are breaking records, making history”, concluded Nunes.
