“The night was really good, you know? But there are many people in our family who don't like to enjoy Christmas. I went out to fill up my mother's car, and on the way I saw my aunt involved in a mess. I told my aunt not to get involved, I only stopped to try to ease the situation. Because when there's a fighter involved in trouble, you know, right? A guy already arrived and put a gun in my nephew's face. Then a push and shove began. The guys had machetes, knives and grenades. And they threw the grenade in my direction. Fragments flew into my leg, into my foot”, Cowboy told Globoesporte.com.
