Jon Jones was caught in an anti-doping test in early December with traces of Turinabol in his body. 'Bones' was cleared by the United States Anti-Doping Agency, but was not cleared by the Nevada Athletic Commission to fight in Las Vegas. “I'm focused on achieving my goal of regaining the light heavyweight belt. I was willing to go through all the USADA exams leading up to this fight, and they confirmed what I've been saying for a long time, that I'm a clean fighter. I thank the California Athletic Commission and Andy Foster for doing the right thing and supporting me through this process. I can't wait to fight with Alexander Gustafson on Saturday, December 29th at the Los Angeles Forum in Inglewood,” Jones posted.

Jones will meet Gustafsson again in the main fight of UFC 232. He will have the chance to regain the light heavyweight belt, which he held between 2011 and 2015.
