Frank mir suffered a technical knockout against Javy Ayala at 4:30 of the second round in the co-main event of Bellator 212. The veteran dominated the first round, but when he returned for the second round, he received a barrage of punches and elbows and withdrew from the fight after losing a tooth because of the rival's blows. Because of this, the American received a 30-day medical suspension.
