José Aldo was scheduled to do a rematch against Cub swanson at UFC 233 in Anaheim, January 26th. The North American rejected the date of the reunion and the Brazilian was left without a rival for the event. With that in mind, Ultimate began negotiating the clash between 'Scarface' and Renato Moicano for the franchise's first show in Brazil in 2019.
