At 35, Dominick Cruz hasn't fought since December 2016, when he was defeated by cody garbrandt in a unanimous decision and lost the bantamweight belt. His return was guaranteed in December 2017 against Jimmie rivera. However, 'Dominator' broke his arm in training and had the fight cancelled. The American's career was marked by a series of injuries since 2012. The UFC even stripped him of his title for being inactive for so long.
For six years in Ultimate, John Lineker has had 14 fights, 12 triumphs and two setbacks. In his last commitment, the man from Pará knocked out brian kelleher at UFC 224 in May this year. With this, the Brazilian won his second consecutive victory and occupies sixth place in the bantamweight rankings.
