Discovered on the reality show 'Dana White's Lookin' For a Fight', Sage Northcutt leaves the UFC after three years. The organization's president Dana White surprised by announcing the young karateka's dismissal on the North American podcast Unfiltered on Tuesday (27).

“His contract ended, so we let him leave. Sage is young and needs to work. So let's let him get experience at one of these other organizations and see where this kid ends up in a few years, and then maybe we'll contact him again,” said White.
Sage was discovered by the franchise president in 2015. The young karateka reached Ultimate undefeated. However, after eight fights in the organization he added six wins and two losses to his record. His last fight was at UFC Boise in July this year. 'Super' knocked out Zak Ottow at 3:13 of the second round.
Even with Ultimate Sage's dismissal, he shouldn't be out of action for long. The president of ONE Championship, Chatri Sityodtong revealed his interest in hiring the UFC revelation. During the franchise event in Singapore, Northcutt stated that he would like to fight for the Asian company.
