The central referee is responsible for mediating the fights, enforcing the rules and preserving the physical integrity of the athletes, even if this puts their safety at risk. And that was exactly what happened at Max Muay Thai, held last Saturday (24), in China. Gou Dakui was facing “Super X” Sitsontidech and in addition to knocking out his rival, he also sent the mediator to the canvas.

In an attempt to knock out 'Super Undeterred by having 'knocked out' the referee, Gou Dakui continued the pressure and then placed Sitsontidech on the ground as well.
