The Brazilian Rousimar Toquinho He already has a set date and opponent to return to the most famous Octagon in the world. The Brazilian Top Team athlete faces the North American Alan belcher at UFC on Fox 3, an event scheduled to take place on May 5th, in New Jersey, in the United States.
In one of the best moments of his career, Toquinho, who has a record of 14 wins and three losses, is trying to establish himself as one of the main athletes in the middleweight category. In his last performance, the Minas Gerais fighter was not aware of Mike massenzio and submitted his opponent with a kneebar at UFC Rio 2, held in January this year. A victory at UFC on Fox 3 could put the Brazilian as a candidate for the organization's title
Belcher is also trying to establish himself among the possible challengers for the Anderson Silva. The American, who has a professional record of 17 wins and seven losses, was even considered for the title fight, but a serious eye injury ruled Alan out of a possible fight. Now, recovered from the injury, Belcher has won three consecutive victories, the last being over Jason MacDonald at UFC Fight Night 25, held in September 2011.
With the confirmation of the duel between Toquinho and Belcher, the UFC on Fox 3 fight program begins to be defined. Check out the partial event card below.
