According to the American website, MMA Junkie, another confrontation has been confirmed at M-1 Global, which will take place on the last day of the year in Japan. Mitsuhiro Ishida faces Gilbert Melendez, César Gracie's black belt.
Melendez, who is undefeated, has fought in WEC, Rumble no Rock, Shooto, PRIDE and Strikeforce. And it has recent victories over Clay guida and Tatsuya Kawajiri
Ishida, on the other hand, will have his first fight in 2007 and is coming off a defeat to Takanori Gomi at the end of the year PRIDE event.
So far the card has respected names on the world MMA scene such as Fedor, Gesias Cavalcante and Shinya Aoki
