Nick Diaz faces Jorge Masvidal at UFC 235

Nick Diaz After a four-year hiatus, he already has a date to return to Ultimate. In an interview with ESPN's North American channel, organization president Dana White stated that the former Strikeforce champion will return to the octagon against Jorge masvidal at UFC 235, March 2 in Las Vegas.

Nick Diaz hasn't fought since January 2015 when he faced Anderson Silva at UFC 183. The duel was unsuccessful after the two were caught undergoing a doping test. As a result, he had to serve an 18-month suspension. In 2017, the fighter was prevented from fighting again, as he was caught in three anti-doping tests outside the competition period. The athlete was banned from fighting for another year by the United States Anti-Doping Agency. In April of this year, the former Strikeforce champion was released to return to the Octagon.
