Romero sends a hint to Anderson: 'Are you afraid of spiders?'

Yoel romero was scheduled to face Paulo borrachinha at UFC Brooklyn in January 2019. With a biceps injury, the Brazilian was removed from the card, but asked his rival to wait for him. With no interest in waiting for his opponent, the Cuban asked to face Anderson Silva at the event in New York (USA). Waiting for 'Spider's' response, the 'Soldier of God' teased the former middleweight champion on his social network.

“Waiting for an opponent on January 19th, in Brooklyn, on the first UFC card on ESPN. We will make history. Are you afraid of spiders?” wrote Romero.

Yoel romero is going through an irregular moment in the organization after being defeated twice by the middleweight champion Robert whittaker. However, 'Soldier of God' beat athletes like Luke Rockhold, Chris Weidman, Ronaldo Jacare e Lyoto Machida. The Cuban has a record of 16 fights, 13 victories and three setbacks.

at 43 years old Anderson Silva made his last fight against Derek Brunson. 'Spider' won by a controversial unanimous decision. It was the Brazilian's first victory in five years.
