Mayweather will pocket more than R$330 million in fight with Nasukawa at Rizzin

Rizzin confirmed the fight between Floyd Mayweather and Tenshin Nasukawa on December 31 in Saitama, Japan. The organization has not yet announced rules for the fight between the fighters. However, Japanese channel Tokyo Sports revealed that the boxer will pocket US$88 million (R$331,4 million at current prices) for the duel.

Tokyo Sports reported that Floyd will earn a purse of US$62 million for the fight with Nasukawa. In addition to receiving US$26 million from TV broadcast and pay-per-view sales. Mayweather's salary amount was confirmed by Rizin CEO Nobuyuki Sakakibara.

The amount Mayweather will receive from Rizin is less than the earnings from his last two boxing fights. In duels against Manny Pacquiao and Conor McGregor the boxer received more than US$200 million.

At 40 years old, Floyd Mayweather has 50 wins in 50 fights on his record. In his 21-year career, the boxer was 12 times world boxing champion in five different categories. In his last engagement 'Money' knocked out Conor McGregor in August 2017.
