UFC and Bellator announce events on the same date in the United States

The rivalry between the organizations will reach its peak in January 2019 when the final of the Bellator Heavyweight GP and UFC 233 will be held on the same day

The dispute between UFC and Bellator has been increasing in recent years, but in January 2019 it will reach its peak. The two biggest MMA organizations announced events for the same date, January 26th. UFC 233 and the Bellator Heavyweight GP final will be separated by just 56km from each other.

Bellator will hold the grand final of the heavyweight tournament on January 26th in Los Angeles (USA). The main clash will put the Russian face to face Fedor Emelianenko and the North American Ryan bader.

The UFC recently announced its return to the Center in Anaheim (USA) on the same day as the Bellator event. No fight was confirmed by the organization in the 233rd edition of the event.

According to the North American newspaper Los Angeles Times, there is a possibility that the superfight between TJ Dillashaw e Henry Cejudo for the bantamweight title could occur during the show in California.
