Bebeo Duarte tells old Jiu-Jitsu stories on his blog

The leader of Brazilian Top Team, Bebeo Duarte, recently launched his blog which tells some stories about “old school” Jiu-Jitsu. The main one was the narration of everything that happened behind the scenes of the challenge against Luta-Livre, in 1991. On that occasion, the main teams in Brazil came together in preparation for a confrontation against their arch-rivals at the time.

“That time was very good, it was a time when we in Jiu-Jitsu, no matter the gym, were all together, to show the superiority of our fight”, he narrated, “We were there representing Jiu-Jitsu, we formed a kind of “elite troops”. Everyone who was closest there during the day-to-day training (my specific case) couldn't hide their happiness at being part of this event, which could change the course of our sport in Brazil.”
