Sonnen appears with UFC belt and says he is a “true champion”

the american Chael Sonnen seems to really be obsessed with the rematch against Anderson Silva, and consequently, win the UFC middleweight belt. The biggest proof of this is that after many provocations and attacks against the Brazilian champion, the controversial fighter went further. This Wednesday, Sonnen appeared on the North American ESPN program DLHQ with a replica of the Ultimate belt

“This original belt is mine, and you can see how well it fits me. Anderson Silva It's a fraud, his time has passed. Welcome to the year '2000 and Chael', the real and absolute middleweight champion”, replied the fighter, when asked where he had obtained the piece.

After much controversy, Sonnen will finally have the chance to qualify for the rematch against Anderson, if the Englishman wins Michael Bisping on next Saturday. In the first fight between Sonnen and Anderson Silva, held at UFC 117, in August 2010, the North American dominated the Brazilian for more than 23 minutes, but ended up submitting with a triangle choke with just over a minute to go.
