The UFC 232 card, scheduled for December 29th, in Las Vegas (USA), added another important fight for women's MMA. On the same day of Chris Cyborg x Amanda nunes, the organization marked the duel between Zingano cat e Megan anderson, valid for the featherweight category (up to 66kg). The fight will also serve as a 'reserve' for the title fight between the Brazilians.

Moving up a category, Zingano, who played in the bantamweight division, is coming off a recent victory over Marion Reneau, in July this year, recovering from three consecutive setbacks. Interestingly, Cat was the last woman to defeat Amanda nunes, in September 2014. At 36 years old, she has accumulated three positive results and three negative results in the organization, having already disputed the belt against the former champion Ronda Rousey, but it was finished in just 14 seconds.
Former Invicta featherweight champion, Anderson arrived with the status of number 1 powerhouse in Ultimate, but received a reality check upon her debut, last June, when she was dominated by Holly holm. The 28-year-old Australian has eight wins and three losses in her career.
