Considered one of the main athletes in Brazilian women's MMA, flyweight Juliana Velasquez already has her next appointment scheduled. She is scheduled to face Alejandra Lara at Bellator 212, on December 14, in Honolulu, Hawaii. The fight was confirmed by the organization itself.

A Team Nogueira Recreio athlete, Velasquez won the seven professional fights he had, two of which were in Bellator. Her most recent performance was in April this year, when she knocked out Rebecca Ruth in edition 197, five months after debuting in the house with a submission over Na Liang.
Lara, in turn, is coming off a submission loss to Ilima-Lei Macfarlane, last June. Previously, she debuted in Bellator with a submission against Lena Ovchynnikova. At 24 years old, the Colombian has seven positive results and two negative results on her record.
Two other important fights are confirmed for Bellator 212. In the main attraction, Brent Primus and Michael chandler rematch for the lightweight belt, while Frank mir and Javy Ayala face each other in the heavyweight division.
