Zubaira Tukhugov was one of the athletes on the Khabib Nurmagomedov who attacked Conor McGregor after the main fight of UFC 229. Due to the attack on the Irishman, the president of Ultimate, Dana White guaranteed that he would remove the fighter from UFC Moncton, on October 27th. At the event, 'Warrior' would face 'Notorious' co-star Artem Lobov. However, 'Russian Hammer' asked the franchise commander not to cancel the clash.

“Dana, don’t let Tukhugov escape his punishment. Put it back!” requested Lobov on Twitter.
The franchise president, in addition to canceling Tukhugov's participation in UFC Moncton, also guaranteed that he will not fight for the franchise again.
Lobov is still waiting for a response from the UFC, however, journalist from the North American channel ESPN, Ariel Helwani claims that the fight has been definitively cancelled. With that, the franchise is looking for a new opponent for Artem.
“I have confirmed that the fight between Lobov and Tukhugov in Moncton later this month has been cancelled. UFC looking for a new opponent for Lobov. Tukhugov’s status is uncertain,” Ariel posted.
