Athletic Commission forwards complaint to the Nevada Attorney General's Office after widespread fight at UFC 229

After reviewing footage of the widespread brawl at UFC 229, the Nevada Athletic Commission forwarded complaints to the state attorney general's office. Therefore, Khabib Nurmagomedov e Conor McGregor may suffer punishment due to confusion.

The body had already blocked the US$2 million purse that Khabib would receive after the confrontation, due to the fight. What's new is the inclusion of a complaint against McGregor. According to the images, Conor also participated in the attacks and that is why he was added to the accusation.

The case

After submitting McGregor, Khabib started an argument with members of the Irishman's corner and started a fight with Dillon Danis. Soon after, members of Nurmagomedov's team invaded the cage and attacked Conor, who retaliated.

The confrontation was calmed down by Las Vegas police and the two were escorted to the locker rooms. The punishment imposed by the Nevada Athletic Commission could be long, and thus Khabib could lose the lightweight title.
