McGregor forgets the fight, asks for a rematch against Khabib and says: 'I'll come back'

Conor McGregor he was away from Ultimate for almost two years and his return had a bitter taste. He was finished by Khabib Nurmagomedov of the main fight of UFC 229, held last Saturday (06), in Las Vegas (USA). Despite the widespread fight after the clash, the Irishman left the confusion in the background and is now aiming for a reunion with his Russian rival.

Through a post on Twitter, McGregor praised the duel against Khabib, but is already aiming for a new duel with the lightweight champion. “Good fight. I’m looking forward to the rematch”, he wrote on the microblog.

Shortly afterwards, on his Instagram account, Conor published a photo inside the Octagon with the words: “I'm going back”.

UFC aims to avoid revaccination

Despite the Irishman's interest, the UFC does not intend for a new Khabib and McGregor fight to take place. The franchise's president, Dana White, revealed that after the widespread fight between the teams, he would do everything possible not to bring them together again in the same place.
