The Brazilian Edson Barboza stepped on the scale at the official weigh-in at UFC Rio, this Friday, and reached exactly 70 kg, the limit for the lightweight division. But like the SUPER FIGHTS accompanied the previous day, the fighter suffered from training to reach this weight.
After the objective was achieved, Barboza spoke with the SUPER FIGHTS and spoke about the battle of the weight cut and the expectations for the fight against Terry emo.
“Thank God for another victory. The fight itself is three challenges: the training, the weight and the fight itself”, said Edson. “But now it’s time to get there tomorrow and close with a bang,” he added.
